They say love finds you when you least expect it...

For us, it arrived disguised as a Taramindo inquiry. It was during the pandemic, and I was busy selling my father's and his group's calamansi concentrate online. My mission was simple: sell Taramindo—not find a boyfriend. To be completely honest, I never entertained people with personal motives. If someone messaged me just to flirt, they were usually ignored. Business was business.

Then Aaron came along.

At first, I thought he was just another customer. But somehow, every week, he'd send me these very long messages. Paragraphs. Actual paragraphs.

Meanwhile, I had only one priority: "If you're not buying, I'm not chatting." But what caught my attention wasn't just his persistence—it was his honesty. From the very beginning, Aaron openly shared that he had been heartbroken before. He told me about the prayer he offered to Mama Mary: "Hindi na po ako hihingi ng kahit sino. Tatanggapin ko na lang kung sino ang ibibigay Ninyo sa akin." As for me, my prayer was a little more specific. I simply hoped that, one day, I'd meet someone who was kind, responsible... and if God was feeling extra generous, bonus na lang kung chinito at pogi. Poor Aaron probably realized that the fastest way to get my attention wasn't flowers or sweet pickup lines—it was placing an order!

What started with Taramindo orders slowly turned into genuine conversations, unexpected friendship, and eventually, a love story neither of us saw coming. Looking back now, it's amazing how God answered two very different prayers in the most unexpected way.

Who would've guessed that calamansi concentrate would become the secret ingredient to forever?

Aaron may have started as a customer, but somewhere along the way, he became my best friend, my greatest blessing, and the love of my life.

Looking back, it's funny how life works... He thought he was buying Taramindo, but he accidentally subscribed to a lifetime commitment instead.

And now, we're counting down to the day we finally say, "I do."
